How RackFair works

RackFair is an independent, early-stage guide to pallet racking prices in Australia. Here is what it does today, what we plan, and how it is paid for.

What it is today

A free price guide. Every price range links to the public page it came from and says what that page states. See all sources.
Ranges show how many public sources back them. A range from one source is marked "1 source, unconfirmed".
Everything shows "last checked Nov 2026". Prices vary, get quotes.
We are not a supplier, installer, engineer or inspector, and we do not sell racking.

What we plan

We are building a vetted supplier network. No supplier is vetted yet and quote requests are not open. If it goes ahead, the plan is:

Check suppliers before listing them, for example business registration, licences and insurance, references, and whether their quotes state their design standard.
Pass an enquiry to at most three suppliers, and only after asking you.
No contracts and no obligation for you.
Offer suppliers a 7-day refund on leads that turn out to be bad, so they only pay for real enquiries.

These are plans, not current services. We will update this page when anything changes.

How RackFair is paid

RackFair is free for you. If quote requests open, we may charge suppliers a referral fee when we introduce an enquiry. That would not change the price ranges in the guides, which come from public pages. Suppliers cannot pay to change a range, and supplier names on this site appear only as price citations, not as endorsements.

What this site does not do

It does not give engineering, legal, safety or financial advice.
It does not publish customer reviews or endorsements.
It does not guarantee any price or supplier.
