Local figures we found
- Inspections: Pallet Racking Inspections (SA) lists SA inspection prices of A$350, A$500–A$750 and A$1,000+ depending on site size (see the source page for the size bands).
- Mezzanines: Storemax (Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide) quotes A$150–A$650 per m² across kits and installs. That is a multi-city range, not an Adelaide-only price; see Mezzanine floor cost.
- Used racking: Storemax (used racking) lists an Adelaide branch, but its "from A$280" price is a national listing with the unit unstated, not an Adelaide price.

Regulator
SafeWork SA publishes pallet racking guidance covering design, rated capacity, modifications, damage reporting and inspection questions (SafeWork SA). It says racking should be inspected "regularly" and refers to AS 4084; it does not state a 12-month interval on that page, while SafeWork NSW and WorkSafe Victoria do (SafeWork NSW, WorkSafe Victoria).
