How often?
SafeWork NSW and WorkSafe Victoria both say a competent person should formally inspect racking at intervals not exceeding 12 months, with frequent informal checks in between (SafeWork NSW, WorkSafe Victoria). WorkSafe Victoria adds that racking over 8 m high needs an elevating work platform for upper levels. Other states have their own regulators, so check yours. See AS 4084 explained. This is not legal advice.
